Registered Nurse (Expression of Interest)

To provide a leading role in clinical care to residents. Responsible for all the required processes in the provision of high-quality care services in ANHF Nursing home. Support the Care Manager in providing information, advice, referral, and direct support services to residents in meeting their identified care needs. Provides direction, support, and guidance to team leaders to ensure their teams are effectively engaged in the delivery of person-centred care to residents and monitors activities against specific performance requirements.

The Requirements

Essential

  • Currently be AHPRA registered
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in residential aged care or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementation of nursing care plans for older people
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of WHS, EEO, and anti-discrimination legislative requirements

Desirable

  • Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of AN-ACC claim, the Accreditation Standards, and the Accreditation process
  • Experience working with culturally and Linguistically Diverse populations.

Care Service Employees (Expression of Interest)

To provide person-centred care to ANHF’s residents to meet their identified needs and to enable them to enjoy optimal independence in a home-like environment.

The Requirements

Essential:

  • Previous experience caring for older people in a residential setting.
  • Attained Certificate level III in Aged Care Work.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency.
  • Evidence of good team building, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to write a simple report in either Chinese or English.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of WHS, EEO, and anti-discrimination legislative requirements.

Desirable

Home Care Employee (Expression of Interest)

The primary objective of the role is:  To enable frail elderly Chinese and Vietnamese people, people living with dementia or other chronic conditions to continue living in their home and support their relationship with their carers through provision of high quality person centred direct care services that meet the older person’s needs.

The Requirements

Essential

  • Motivation and commitment to caring for the elderly
  • Certificate III in Aged Care / Certificate III in Home and Community Care or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year experience in health, aged or community-based services providing personal care, domestic assistance and/or support services
  • Evidence of good communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken Chinese and basic skills in written and spoken English
  • Evidence of good team building and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of WH&S, EEO and anti-discrimination legislative requirements
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Current driver’s licence, good driving record, and access to reliable care with comprehensive car insurance
  • Access to and ability to use a smart mobile phone.
  • Australian Citizenship / Residency.
  • National Police Clearance.
