Ada Cheng

Chief Executive Officer

Ada Cheng is a qualified Social Worker and holds a Masters degree in Community Management. Ada has over 20 years of experience in Aged Care Management and has a proven track record in service planning and development, managing Australian Federal and State-funded community and residential aged care service contracts. Ada has a keen passion for developing culturally appropriate aged services which has led to the successful implementation of a range of invaluable services and resources applied to cross-cultural care.
Ada joined ANHF in 2005 as a strategic planner and currently serves as CEO of ANHF. She has overseen the organisation’s vast growth and has implemented a full spectrum of community and residential services. Under Ada’s leadership, the ANHF Aged Services portfolio along with its revenue have tripled over the past several years; growth attributed to Ada’s vision and innovative mindset, which have resulted in cutting edge outcomes for culturally competent aged care services in Sydney. Ever since the need for quality dementia care was identified as the top priority in ANHF’s strategic planning, Ada has ensured innovative programs in this important area are being delivered to the highest standard.
Ada has also been engaged to speak at many high-profile international conferences in Hong Kong, Beijing and Japan discussing culturally appropriate care, dementia care, and long-term care.

Johnny Teong

Chief Financial Officer

Over the past 35 years, Johnny Teong has held senior regional and national roles in finance and corporate administration in multinational corporations, small to medium enterprises and not-for-profit organisations in the aged care industry. He brings to ANHF experience and best practices gained from employment and non-executive Board membership in other aged-care providers, including BaptistCare and Wesley Mission.
Johnny is responsible for ANHF’s corporate services which provide specialised professional and technical support to enable our residential and community care staff to focus on the delivery of quality care. The areas of support relate to financial and business management, human resource management, Community Visitors Scheme, volunteers and development, information technology, communications and media, purchasing, property maintenance, and compliance and risk management.
Johnny holds an MBA, is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of CPA Australia, Governance Institute of Australia, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jenny Chua

General Manager - Care Services

Jenny Chua holds a Master degree in Social Policy and Planning at the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London, England. She obtained her BA (Hons) in Social Studies at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England, majors in Social Administration; Social Statistics and Issues in Health Care. She is an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management, and a member of the Residential Advisory Committee with the Aged & Community Services NSW & ACT for the past 10 years. She is also a Justice of the Peace in NSW.
Over the last 20 years, Jenny worked her way up from a community care worker to senior executive positions in the Quality and Risk fields in aged care. She held a position as the Director of Care overseeing the growth and operation of a medium size faith-based not-for-profit aged care provider for almost 9 years prior to joining ANHF. Jenny brings strong leadership skills, solid quality management background, and extensive compliance experiences to ANHF. Jenny has particular passions in continuous improvement, professional development and positive culture building. She believes that these three areas are the keys to success in delivering high-quality care services to aged care residents and families.
Jenny joined ANHF in August 2019. She is responsible for the day to day operations of all residential homes, home care and community care services managed by the Australian Nursing Home Foundation. She ensures that the care and services delivered by our residential homes meet all government legislation, aged care regulations and standards.
