Aged Care Services

We provide culturally appropriate services to our elders to enhance their independence so they can live life their way.

Along with our residential nursing homes, we offer a range of other aged care services to support elders in our community.

We receive strong support from the Australian-Chinese community and government funding bodies, reflecting our expertise and commitment in delivering excellent and culturally aware care and services to suit the specific needs of older people of Chinese origin. We also offer services to the Vietnamese community.

Your wellbeing will be front of mind for us and we will support you to be as independent as you are able.

For elders living in their own home

ANHF offer community services to help elders stay in their own homes. Day to day living activities can become difficult to manage for most people as they grow older. However they value their independence and wish to stay in their own home. We provide support services for day to day living such as cleaning, meals, home maintenance etc.

It is also important to get out of the house for company and mental stimulation. Access to group activities with like-minded people is a popular aged care service. It also allows carers a short break. Longer stay respite is also available. Links to our services are below:

Community Housing

This public housing estates at Surry Hills and Jones Street are within walking distance of Darlinghurst, Hyde Park and Chinatown to meet the immediate need of housing problems experienced by older people of Chinese background living in the City of Sydney. These units consist of one-bedroom with ensuite and an open kitchen leading to the lounge and dining area and a balcony. All units are wheelchair accessible.

Specialised Housing for Seniors

The Accommodation for Seniors at Campsie is another accommodation alternative which appeals to many seniors in our community. It is a specialised safe, comfortable elderly Housing Service for tenants of Chinese origin. It is an attractive alternative to nursing home accommodation for people who are still able to look after themselves independently.
